DataOne recognises that the operation of large-scale industry leading Data Centre facilities hosting the latest technologies cannot be undertaken without the consumption of substantial amounts of energy to power IT equipment and to provide the required levels of supporting infrastructure including cooling and lighting.

This policy applies to all DataOne data centre business operations and employees.

DataOne is reducing our impact on the planet, with a commitment to protect the environment and prevent pollution resulting from our operations through the following actions:

• Committing to the achievement of net-zero emissions for Scopes 1 and 2 and operating our business in a manner to
  achieve this commitment by 2050.
• Pursuing efficiency programs for data centers to reduce energy and water consumption.
• Procuring zero-carbon energy and using on-site renewables where possible to reduce carbon emissions.
• Reducing waste generation, increasing recycling rates and working with suppliers to minimize waste and harmful
  environmental impacts.
• Committing to stakeholder engagement, through transparent reporting, and partnering with customers and suppliers
  to build capability on energy and environmental issues
• Offer training to grow the knowledge of our employees and key suppliers ensuring they are aware of the
  environmental impacts of their work activities and encourage them through regular awareness-building to minimize
  those impacts.
• Operating our facilities with consideration and protection of biodiversity impacts including habitat preservation, air
  quality, and noise pollution.
• Allocate sufficient resources and provide information as may be required to support the management system and
  the achievement of its stated objectives and targets.
• Work to continually improve the energy performance of the in-scope Data Center portfolio against established
  industry standard metrics and objectives and targets.
• Ensure that this policy is communicated to all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate the objectives of the policy to ensure that the policy is considered in all relevant procurement
  decisions that may impact the energy and environment performance of the in-scope Data Center portfolio

Compliance obligations — DataOne will meet or exceed applicable regulatory obligations, customer commitments and
other environmental requirements to which we subscribe. This includes corporate reporting under recognized ESG
frameworks.

Goals and objectives — We establish goals and objectives, track our progress toward achieving them, and, when
relevant, disclose our essential metrics to stakeholders. These targets are regularly reviewed to ensure they stay relevant,
impactful, and attainable. To achieve the objectives outlined in this policy, DataOne integrates environmental goals and
objectives into its business planning, decision making, performance tracking and governance processes.

Management commitment — DataOne senior management promotes a culture in the organization that supports the
management systems, which includes providing appropriate resources and support to ensure the implementation of this
policy in line with our business objectives and compliance obligations.

Interested parties — This environmental policy will be made publicly available and communicated to interested parties.
The policy will be updated regularly based on stakeholder involvement and requirements.

To support the implementation of this policy, DataOne maintains a program of training, audits and supplier assessments
to ensure compliance and generate continual improvement of the environmental management system to enhance our
environmental performance.
